MOBILE SYSTEM AND LBS SYSTEM AND THERE METHOD OF SERVING LOCAL IMAGE BY USING LBS

A mobile communication system, a location based server system, and a location based image information providing method are provided to enable a user to find or move to a destination place rapidly and definitely by providing image information of the destination place for a portable terminal if the portable terminal approaches the destination place. A mobile communication system comprises a service provider network(110) and a server system(120). The service provider network(110) provides location based image information near a destination place, searched for at the request of the portable terminal(100), for the server system(120) via a communication path. The server system(120) determines a current location of the portable terminal(100) by analyzing GPS(Global Positioning System) location information transmitted by the service provider network(110), and transmits the location based image information of the destination place, searched from an image database, to the portable terminal(100) if the server determines that the portable terminal(100) is near the destination place.
