METHOD FOR PREPARING A SOIL CONDITIONER USING FOOD GARBAGE AND THE SOIL CONDITIONER PREPARED FROM THE SAME

A method for preparing a soil conditioner using food garbage is provided to exterminate pathogenic germs, decompose an anionic surfactant, and produce the soil conditioner efficiently without going through separate drying and fermentation processes. A method for preparing a soil conditioner using food garbage includes the steps of: washing food garbage using a cleaning water containing at least one acid selected from peracetic acid, citric acid, nitrilotriacetic acid, and Ca-ethylenediaminetetraacetate; breaking the washed food garbage, and then irradiating the resultant with an electron beam or radioactive rays; and adding 1-90 parts by weight of at least one high-calcium source selected from the group consisting of quicklime, calcium hydroxide, shells, starfish, and cement kiln dust, 10-90 parts by weight of anhydrous magnesium chloride, 1-50 parts by weight of at least one heat generation accelerator selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and perchloric acid, and 1-50 parts by weight of a boiling point modifier selected from the group consisting of ethyleneglycol, glycerine, and triethyleneglycol per 100 parts by weight of the food garbage, and mixing the admixture. Further, the irradiating step is performed by irradiating the electron beam from electron ray accelerator, gamma ray emitted from Co, Kr, Sr or Cs radioisotope.
