DYNAMIC GUIDE CHANNEL SERVICE SYSTEM AND METHOD

A system and a method for providing a dynamic EPG(Electronic Program Guide) channel service are provided to dynamically change and supply channel information according to time even when the number of dividing a terminal screen is less than a broadcasting channel number, thereby providing a guide channel service for all broadcasting channels through one guide channel under wireless service environment. Plural broadcasting input units(21-1 to 21-n) respectively receive and store broadcasting data transmitted from each broadcasting server(10-1 to 10-n). A channel selecting unit(22) dynamically obtains broadcasting data of the number, corresponding to the number of dividing one screen of a wireless DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) terminal and a wireless VOD(Video On Demand) based real time broadcasting terminal, according to time among broadcasting data stored in the each broadcasting input unit. A channel synthesizing unit(23) respectively resizes a screen size of the broadcasting data selected by the channel selecting unit, synthesizes the resized screen into one guide channel screen, and outputs the synthesized guide channel screen to the wireless DMB terminal and the wireless VOD based real time broadcasting terminal.
