摘要

A composite beam and a construction method using the same are provided to obtain economy and easy construction by protruding steel beams out of two ends of reinforced concrete. A composite beam comprises a central portion made of reinforced concrete and end portions at which steel beams protrude out of the reinforced concrete. The steel beam may be an I-beam or an H-beam. An upper flange of the steel beam is exposed to the upper surface of the reinforced concrete. A lower flange of the steel beam is a varying section. The composite beam further comprises a tendon including PC strand arranged longitudinally by way of post-tension or pre-tension in the reinforced concrete.
