METHOD FOR WORKING CODE DIVISION MULTIPLEXING CHANNEL OF SATELLITE DIGITAL MULTIMEDIA BROADCAST SYSTEM

A CDM(Code Division Multiplexing) channel management method of a satellite digital multimedia broadcasting system is provided to make the transmission power intensity of each CDM channel differ according to the CDM channels. Various multimedia information such as news, traffic information, weather information, geographical position information and moving picture information and the like is transmitted to a read solomon encoder(20) by means of an MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group)-2 TS(Transport Stream)(10). The transmission signal of the read solomon encoder is transmitted to a CDM modulator(60) through a byte inter-leaver(30), a convolutional encoder(40) and a bit inter-leaver(50). At the CDM transmission, the different transmission power intensities are transmitted according to CDM channels.
