A method for regulating illegal vehicles for bus exclusive lane using a bus is provided to enhance the reliability of the regulating by implementing a regulating device in a front portion of the bus. A camera(122) mounted in a front portion of a bus photographs a vehicle traveling in a bus exclusive lane, and an image is generated. The license plate number image of the vehicle is extracted and text information is recognized. Whether the vehicle is an illegal vehicle for bus exclusive lane is determined based on the text information. When the vehicle is an illegal vehicle, a wireless communication unit(110) transmits the image, license plate number image, and text information to the outside. A center server receives data from the wireless communication unit and generates an instruction related to penalties for violations. A local office computer receives and outputs the instruction related to the penalties.
