BRAID BRAIDED WITH DECORATION LINE AND BRAIDING MACHINE FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A braid and an apparatus for braiding the same are provided to give compact and simple decoration to the braid, by forming decoration lines on a lateral portion of the braid along a length of the braid. A braid(3) is formed by weaving a plurality of braid yarns(2,2') outside core yarns(1,1'). The braid has decoration lines(5) formed in a longitudinal direction of the braid. The decoration lines are constituted by braiding separate decorative braid yarns(4,4'). The decoration lines are constituted in one type selected from a two-line type, a three-line type, a four-line type, a five-line type, and a six-line type.
