A device and a method for providing a tone education service with a game are provided to satisfy a tone education which is not realized in a game using a lever or a button by combining education and entertainment. A tone database(25) stores a reference value for tones. An input part(24) inputs the tone spoken from a user. A tone extractor(23) analyzes the spoken tone through a frequency analysis of absolute tones based on the reference value. A controller(22) determines a moving direction of a game item based on a tone analysis result received from the tone extractor. A screen display part(21) provides a grid type polygonal game screen including the movable game item and displays the game item to a position of corresponding coordinates in a screen according to moving direction information received from the controller. The game screen includes the game item and destination of the game item. The game is finished if the game item reaches the destination.
