A tie for union is provided to alternatively use the tie as a packing unit such as a box by extending length of the tie for union. A tie for union includes a linear band(10) and through holes(11). The linear band has a binding unit(20) with a pair of fitting projections(21). The through holes are longitudinally formed at regular intervals to insert the binding unit of the rolled band so that the fitting projections are fitted through holes. The binding unit is vertically twisted by partially forming a rotating unit(22) at a rear end of the fitting projections. The band is one of an OHP film, PVC, PET, PE, and PP. Two projections(23) are formed at the fitting projections of the binding unit. The rotating unit is placed between the two projections.
