An apparatus for measuring nanoparticles in an aqueous solution is provided to measure laser-induced breakdown of nanoparticles contained in an aqueous solution using a probe beam. An apparatus for measuring nanoparticles in an aqueous solution comprises a laser generating unit(10), a glove box(30), a probe beam generating unit(50) and a measuring unit(70). The laser generating unit includes a laser generating device(11), a diaphragm(13), a linear polarizing plate(14), a beam splitter(15) and a mirror(17). The glove box includes a first optical window(31), a sample cell(33), a lens(34), and second and third optical windows(35,36). The probe beam generating unit is located in one side of the glove box and includes a probe beam generating device(51) and a light diode(53). The measuring unit is connected to the light diode of the probe beam generating unit and includes a boxcar averager(71) and a computer(73).
