1501 Novel Bacillus subtilis DBB 1501 Strain and Biological Control Method of Plant Diseases Using the Strain

A microbial agent composition comprising a novel Bacillus subtilis DBB 1501 strain is provided to show antibacterial activity on plant diseases inducing bacteria, thereby being an effective plant diseases controlling agent. A novel Bacillus subtilis DBB 1501 strain having antibacterial activity on at least one bacteria inducing plant diseases selected from the group consisting of cucumber powdery mildew, strawberry powdery mildew, melon powdery mildew, peach bacterial shot hole, and ginseng leaf spot is deposited as a deposition no. KFCC-11356P. A microbial agent composition for controlling the plant diseases inducing bacteria comprises the Bacillus subtilis DBB 1501 strain or a culture material thereof as an effective ingredient. A method for preparing the microbial agent comprises the steps of: (a) culturing the Bacillus subtilis DBB 1501 strain in a liquid culture medium; and (b) drying and pulverizing the culture material to prepare an agent.
