Aging rate measurement apparatus and method of imaginary blood vessel

An apparatus and a method for measuring an aging rate of an imaginary blood vessel are provided to accurately determine compliance of the imaginary blood vessel by using a volume variation value according to a change of an inner pressure of the imaginary blood vessel. An aging rate measurement apparatus includes a bath(100), a model arm(200), and a pressure sensor(300). Water is stored in the bath. The model arm is submerged in the water. The model arm is composed of a hollow pipe made of an elastic material. Small pipes(210,220) connected to external apparatuses are coupled with both ends of the model arm. A fluid pumped in the external apparatuses is moved through an input small pipe and is inputted into the model arm. The fluid is intermittently supplied to the model arm and is pulsed in the model arm. The model arm having elasticity is expanded and shrunk by pulsation formed in the model arm. The pressure sensor for measuring a pressure is installed in an output small pipe at a discharge side. The pressure sensor measures a pressure variation value varied according the pulsation formed in the model arm.
