A preparation method of black ginseng with enhanced saponin content is provided to keep the steaming temperature constant and to prevent the effective ingredients of ginseng from flowing to water by using a digital temperature control type-steamer. A preparation method of black ginseng with enhanced saponin content comprises the steps of: (a) washing ginseng, and drying it in the shade for 24~48hr; (b) firstly steaming the dried ginseng at 98~102°C for 7~9hr, and drying it at 54~56°C for 48~72hr; (c) secondly steaming the dried ginseng at 98~102°C for 7~9hr, and drying it at 54~56°C for 12~24hr; (d) thirdly steaming the dried ginseng at 94~96°C for 7~9hr, and drying it at 54~56°C for 10~12hr; (e) fourthly steaming the dried ginseng at 93~94°C for 7~9hr, and drying it at 54~56°C for 10~12hr; (f) fifthly steaming the dried ginseng at 88~90°C for 7~9hr, and drying it at 54~56°C for 10~12hr; (g) sixthly steaming the dried ginseng at 85~87°C for 7~9hr, and drying it at 54~56°C for 10~12hr; (h) seventhly steaming the dried ginseng at 82~84°C for 7~9hr, and drying it at 54~56°C for 10~12hr; (i) eighthly steaming the dried ginseng at 79~81°C for 7~9hr, and drying it at 54~56°C for 10~12hr; and (j) ninthly steaming the dried ginseng at 76~78°C for 7~9hr, and drying it at 54~56°C for 10~12hr.
