The present invention relates to a method for selectively extracting isoflavones from isoflavone -containing plant . Features of the present invention can obtain a high isoflavone content of beta- cyclodextrin or by selectively combining the isoflavones from isoflavone -containing plant utilizing molecular recognition of various cyclodextrin derivatives . According to the present invention, compared to the method used in the conventional organic solvent extraction of the isoflavones are simple process , can be obtained and compared with the hot water extraction of the isoflavones content , as well as it does not need a complicated separation step of separating by adsorption to the column , so this process has the advantage that it is very simple .
