BUS INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR GUIDING REAL TIME BUS ARRIVAL INFORMATION

A system for guiding bus arrival information in real time is provided to enhance user convenience by guiding bus arrival information without error exactly through a zigbee terminal. A DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) terminal(300) installed at a bus with an ID(Identification), obtains position coordinates of the bus by receiving a position signal from a GPS(Global Positioning System)(50), generates traveling data of the bus, and transmits the ID and the traveling data when the bus reaches stations. Station controllers(400-1,400-2), which are installed at respective bus stations, transmit and receive the ID and the traveling data through a communication network(40), and output bus arrival information. A traffic information center(500) receives the ID and the traveling data from the station controller, stores date and time information related to bus traveling information based on the traveling data, generates arrival prediction information including the bus traveling information, and transmits the arrival prediction information to the controller of the next station at which the bus arrives.
