A motion style transfer method of a moving image object and an apparatus thereof are provided to transfer the same object in contents of a moving image to various motion styles and to implement a moving image substantially similar to a motion of a really photographed object by differentiation-styling various motions of a corresponding object through defined motion patterns by motions to display the moving image. A motion style transfer apparatus(200) of a moving image object includes an image frame storing unit, a macro block forming unit, a feature element extractor, a motion style area set unit, a motion pattern information forming unit, a motion style transfer calculator, and a controller. The image frame storing unit stores respective image frames provided by playing a moving image. The macro block forming unit divides a first image frame into an expected number of macro blocks. The feature element extractor extracts a feature element with respect to pixels in each macro block. The motion style area set unit sets at least one group as each motion style area. The motion pattern information forming unit calculates a vector variation amount between motion style areas and forms motion vector information with respect to each motion style area. The motion style transfer calculator forms a motion vector estimating a motion of each motion style area on a third image frame. The controller differentiation-styles a motion of a corresponding motion style area from another motion style area.
