An expansion joint for a bridge equipped with a drainage sheet replacement system and a construction method thereof are provided to facilitate replacement of a broken drainage sheet and cleaning of impurities by allowing the broken drainage sheet to be easily separated using a drainage sheet replacement system without control of a vehicle. An expansion joint for a bridge comprises an expansion joint and a drainage sheet replacement system(A). The expansion joint includes a pair of finger plates(11) facing each other, a base vertical anchor plate(13) having a horizontal anchor plate(12) at the lower portion thereof, a pair of base plates(14), anchor fixing plates(15) having a T shape, and a finger anchor vertical plate(16). The base vertical anchor plate is disposed below the finger plates and has a predetermined width. The base plates are attached to the upper portion of the base vertical anchor plate. The anchor fixing plate is welded onto the base plates at a regular interval.
