Transgenic mice overexpressing ?ig-h3 and method for producing thereof

Transgenic mice overexpressing betaig-h3(transforming growth factor-beta) are provided to induce ocular diseases by secreting the expressed betaig-h3 excessively into the blood, so that the transgenic mice are useful for treating ocular diseases including corneal dystrophies, cloudy cornea and anterior ocular hypoplasia. A method for producing a transgenic mouse overexpressing betaig-h3 specifically in the liver comprises the steps of: (a) preparing a gene construct containing liver-specific enhancer/promoter, human betaig-h3 gene, IRES(internal ribosomal entry site), reporter gene, intron and poly A sequence, in an operatively linked, sequential manner in the 5' to 3' direction; (b) introducing the gene construct of step (a) into embryos of mice; and (c) implanting the embryos(KCTC 11063BP) of step (b) into surrogate mother mice.
