A composition for removing a pre-calcinated partition wall and a dielectric film, and a method for removing the plastic partition wall and dielectric film of a PDP simultaneously by using the composition are provided to remove them without the effect on a metal conductive layer. A composition for removing a pre-calcinated partition wall and a dielectric film comprises 5-35 wt% of ethylene glycol monobutyl ether; 1-10 wt% of ethylene glycol monomethyl ether; 1-10 wt% of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone; 1-10 wt% of a water-soluble alkali; and the balance of water. Preferably the water-soluble alkali is at least one selected from the group consisting of sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide and ammonium hydroxide.
