FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to hydro metallurgy of non ferrous metals and can be used at development of practices for hydro metallurgical processing of solutions containing zinc together with nickel and/or copper and/or cobalt. The method includes introducing a sulphur containing reagent into the solution and heating it at a temperature of 130-170°C. At that thiosulfate as a sulphur containing reagent is used at a consumption rate of 110-130% from stoicometric required for sedimentation of nickel, cobalt and copper; this reagent is introduced into initial solution containing nickel and zinc and at least one of metals like cobalt, copper and iron.
