FIELD: medicine, ecology.;SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with systemic ecologo-hygienic evaluation of the degree of medico-ecological situation. One should detect the value of environmental pollution for each chemical element being harmful for every age health group (Px). For each region of the tested area it is important to detect the sickness rate of thyroid gland (TG) associated with iodine-deficient state (IDS). The sickness rate should be established for different age groups and based upon the detected sickness rate it is possible to determine the chance for the development of IDS (Dx). Based upon the obtained IDS-associated TG-sickness rate one should conclude upon nosologic forms of the disease in question. It is necessary to determine the risk in the development of different nosologic forms of IDS-associated TG-diseases according to the following formula: Rx=PxDx, where x - any chemical ecotoxicant. Moreover, it is necessary to plot the obtained risks onto the region map that illustrates the sickness rate in the region in question. Based upon the obtained date one should predict the risk in the development of IDS. The innovation enables to evaluate real and potential risks in the development of IDS at higher degree of probability and the onset of IDS-associated TG-diseases under conditions of anthropotechnogenic chemical environmental pollution.;EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of evaluation.;4 dwg, 1 tbl
