FIELD: oil production, particularly enhanced recovery methods for obtaining hydrocarbons, namely by oil displacement with water.;SUBSTANCE: method involves performing geologic-geophysical, hydrodynamic, core, fluid pressure, volume and temperature investigations of all exploratory holes, including ones located outside oil-saturated lens; using 3D seismic survey data to map adjacent low-permeable reservoir boundaries outside oil-saturated lens; creating 3D geological productive reservoir model; creating 3D hydrodynamic productive reservoir model; adapting 3D hydrodynamic model to all exploratory well investigation results with alternating number and types of producing and injection wells, well location, injection and producing oil and fluid regimes, wherein oil-saturated lens is likened to producing well; drilling producing wells in oil-saturated lens; producing oil from oil-saturated lens in reservoir energy depletion regime; drilling horizontal injection and/or multibranch wells in adjacent reservoirs characterized by noncommercial oil reserves or separating said wells from exploratory ones; injecting water in said wells to activate adjacent noncommercial oil reserves due to oil displacement with water into oil-saturated lens, namely enlarged producing well.;EFFECT: increased efficiency of oil-saturated lens development, possibility to produce additional oil volume.;2 cl, 1 ex, 3 dwg
