FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: scope of invention is related to industrial ecology and method of production of solid granulated adsorbent for removal of heavy metals from waste water of industrial facilities. The adsorbent is obtained by polycondensation in the presence of ash particles of TPS (thermal power station) wastes acting as polycondensation centres. Sodium polysulphide and trichloropropanoic fraction of epichlorohydrin production wastes are used as monomers in polycondensation reaction. Sodium polysulphide (Na2Sn, n=3-4) is obtained from elementary sulphur and sodium hydroxide in water solution in the presence of hydrazine hydrate as reducing agent. n value in sodium polysulphide depends on mole ratio S:NaOH. If this ratio is 3:2, then n=3, if this ratio is 2:1, then n=4. Ash is introduced into obtained sodium polysulphide solution as fine powder, the average particle size is 0.05 mcm.;EFFECT: adsorbent obtained is efficient in adsorption of heavy metals.;6 ex
