FIELD: medicine; orthopaedics.;SUBSTANCE: along with segmental resection of deformed costal cartilages by external side of chest funnel-shaped deformation, parasternal chondrotomy and T-shaped sternotomy, additional wedge resection of deformed ribs is performed from 2 sides by front auxiliary line with wedge base with cranial direction to eliminate diastases between crossed rib ends. In case of asymmetric deformation resection is performed in front direction on side of front chest wall great retraction. After that chest-rib complex is led to correction position and fixed without effort to cross and longitudinal perforated plates providing extra fixation to ribs.;EFFECT: prevents deformation relapse.;1 ex
