METHOD OF EARLY PSYCHIC TRAUMA SEVERITY EVALUATION

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: point scale based on quantitative assessment of trauma characteristics in consideration of total burdening circumstances is applied. Points for each factor are summarised: short-term psychic trauma of children parents of whom died as a result of family conflict, suicide or disease - 50 points; emotional deprivation factor of social orphans, including children refused in maternity hospital, children not maintaining relations with their biological parents - 40 points; short-term psychic trauma of children suffered from sexual raping - 30 points; chronic psychic trauma caused by brutal treatment - 20 points; emotional deprivation factor of social orphans maintaining relations with their biological parents and of children adopted within age 4-7 years old - 10 points. Points for burdening circumstances are summarised: absence of trust relationship with any person of immediate environment - 7 points, disregard, bad care and humiliations - 6 points, age less than 7 years old - 5 points; special temperament "problem child" - 4 points; staying in orphanage - 3 points; absence of psychological and psychiatric assistance - 2 points; low economic status of family - 1 point. Three degrees of trauma severity are determined as follows. 13-34 points indicate slight degree, 35-56 points correspond to medium degree, and 57-78 points - to severe degree.;EFFECT: increased accuracy of children psychic trauma diagnostics.;1 tbl, 2 ex
