The aim of the invention is to provide highly effective microchannel heat exchangers which can be produced at low cost. According to the invention, flat stacked thin layers of film are arranged in such a way that free areas in the stack of film (20) in the arrangement thereof result in two separate microchannel systems. The invention also relates to the use of a perforated or slotted film (21, 22, 23, 24) or strips of film in order to produce a stack of film (20) for a microchannel heat exchanger. The invention further relates to a microchannel heat exchanger.
