The sliding unit (1) has a metallic basebody (11) with a sliding surface (2) for sliding attachment at a counter surface, and apertures (3) with lubricant e.g. silicone oil. Each aperture is filled with a porous body (4) e.g. sinter pots, which is soaked with the flow-capable lubricant having a connected porous system, where stability of the porous body is smaller than that of the basebody. The apertures are formed in the form of bore-holes, which run perpendicular to the sliding surface through the basebody. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing of a sliding unit.
