The heat exchangers has several stacked together, disc-pipes (4-10) with a first medium such as coolant provided in the pipes. A second medium is also provided such as air. The exchanger is made of two half-shells and has a connection cup (20, 21), having a cup height (N) combined with substance of the disc-pipes, in the direction of a pipe clearance distance (R). The relationship between the cup height and the pipe distance (R) is greater than 2.25.
