The method involves guiding ventilation gas by a filter. The filter is undulated before and after its gauge slide, and the weight difference of the filter is held for determining quantity of oil ejection of a crank case ventilation system of an internal-combustion engine. Ventilation gas lines (6-11) and a filter housing of a measuring arrangement (4) are heated for more than 100 degrees Centigrade. The ventilation gas is guided through a separator provided in a crude oil sink (16) before the gas is led through the filter. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement executing a method for determining oil ejection of a crank case ventilation system of an internal-combustion engine with a filter.
