The system has a measuring device for detecting a three-dimensional surface of a body, and a data processing unit containing a target data record of the three-dimensional surface of the body. A program is provided for producing a target-actual comparison between the stored target data and the measured actual-data after transformation of the actual coordinates detected with reference to a sensor coordinate system into the target data record. A display unit represents the target-actual comparison and is formed as a projector for projection of the comparison on the surface of the body. An independent claim is also included for a testing method for testing a three-dimensional body.
