The device has two supporting rods (4, 5) for fixing a wheel (2) of a vehicle in a preset position in a straight condition, where each of the supporting rods is connected with a transverse rod at an end and is fixedly fastened at another end. The transverse rod is attached at an axis (13) of the wheel, where the supporting and the transverse rods form a trapezium. An instantaneous center of rotation (P) of the supporting rods lies at a vertical axis (20), which cuts a geometrical center point of the wheel, where the center of rotation is identical with the center point of the wheel.
