The device (11) has a cutting unit (12) with two cutting rollers (13a, 13b) rotatable in opposite directions with respective cutting disks (17a, 17b, 18a 18b), where the cutting disks are made of a ceramic material. The cutting disks are provided on each of the cutting rollers. The cutting disks (17a, 17b) are provided with smaller diameter and blunt teeth, and the cutting disks (18a, 18b) are provided with larger diameter and pointed teeth. The cutting disks (17a, 17b) mesh and/or cooperate with each other and respectively with the cutting disks (18a, 18b).
