The procedure for the surface processing of a work piece with a tribologically occupiable surface, comprises finishing the surface (12) and bringing in by means of laser structuring bags (10). The laser structuring takes place via ultra-short pulse with pulse duration of less than 100 ps and a frequency of 100 KHz-10 MHz. The roughness of the surface processed by hone is = 3 mu m RZ. An independent claim is included for work piece.
