The method involves connecting an agent e.g. network unit and base station, with three managers e.g. network management centers, in a management system. A request is sent and received to the agent and from one of the managers for sending information from the agent to the other managers. A prospective operation, which is implemented by the agent, is applied by information on the request by the agent. The management system is operated according to universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS)standard. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a manager for a management system (2) an agent for a management system.
