The device has a bracket (110), which is designed on surface of a handrail element (120), in an area of a freestanding front surface (111) of a fastening panel (130). A profile element (140) is mounted by the panel, where an upper front surface of the profile element, projects out over an upper surface of the bracket. A lower front surface of the profile element, projects out over the lower surface of the bracket. A post support (141) is formed at the profile element. The profile element is detachably attached in the fixed fastening panel.
