The transducer (1) has a base electrode (4) arranged in a distance to a swingable diaphragm electrode (5). The base electrode is designed by a conductive path (3) arranged on a circuit carrier (2), where the carrier is a printed circuit board. The base electrode is covered by a covering layer e.g. solder stopping layer. The diaphragm electrode comprises a carrier layer (6) and a conductive layer (7) arranged on the carrier layer. The diaphragm electrode is glued on the printed circuit board and is contacted using a spring unit (9) attached at the carrier. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sound transducer.
