Magnetic sensor i.e. magnetic rotation counter, has sensor units arranged together in varied angle of zero degree, where magnetization direction of magnetic layer of each sensor unit is uniform in chip and points to units in same direction

The sensor has sensor units (2a, 2b) provided on a chip (1) and arranged together in a varied angle of 0 degree. A magnetization direction of a hard magnetic layer (3) of each sensor units is uniform in the chip and points to all the sensor units in the same direction. The magnetization direction of the hard magnetic layer has an angle between 0 to 90 degrees for each sensor unit. The direction of the layer of each sensor unit points to a chip in a same direction, which corresponds to the half angle. Another set of sensor units is provided on the chip and connected to a Wheatstone bridge. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a magnetic sensor.
