The method involves connecting Universal serial bus central module (USB-Host) with the two universal serial bus devices. The functionality required for the access on a universal serial bus device (USB1) is delegated for using the service provided from another universal serial bus device (USB2) to the former universal serial bus device, where a device auxiliary module (device class metahost) implementing these functionality is activated in the former universal serial bus device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a universal serial bus central module, which has a universal serial bus central module auxiliary module (2) a universal serial bus device, which has a device auxiliary module (3) a universal serial bus system, which has a universal serial bus device.
