The cleaning device has a rotatable cleaning head (1), and a cleaning unit, which is arranged at the cleaning head and stays in contact with a surface to be cleaned during the rotation of the cleaning head. The cleaning unit has a ring (7), which is attached to the cleaning head and another ring (8), which is attached to the former ring and stays in contact with the surface to be cleaned during the rotation of the cleaning head, where the rings are interlaced with one another. The rings are made of metal e.g. nickel or metal with nickel additive or nickel alloy.
