The system (1) has a medical device i.e. X-ray C-arm device (3), for detecting an object in two dimensions, and an user interface (7) for producing a user interaction signal depending on the user interaction, where the interaction signal is transmitted to the medical device for controlling the medical device. The user interface is separably connected with the medical device in a wireless manner. A charging station (9) is electrically and/or mechanically coupled with the user interface, where the charging station charges an energy storage (32) of the user interface with electricity.
