Production of plastic louvers (1) for car heaters comprises first molding louver strips (2) which have pivots (4) or slide studs (5) on their ends. These are then linked by injection molding transverse bars (6) or slides (7) across the pivots or studs. Independent claims are included for: (A) a molding machine for producing the louvers which has sliding mold inserts for producing the linking bars or slides after molding the louver strips; and (B) louvers produced using the method.
