Crankshaft for e.g. receiving and transmitting piston rod forces in six cylinder-row internal-combustion engine, has shaft pivots for supporting crankshaft, and balancing masses arranged in common plane running through longitudinal axis
The crankshaft (100) has shaft pivots (102-114) for supporting a crankshaft, and crank pins (116-126) for connection with piston rods (128-148). Balancing masses are arranged in a common plane running through a crank shaft longitudinal axis. The balancing masses are symmetrically arranged in a direction of both crankshaft ends. A complete balancer is provided at the shaft pivots, and a balance level related to crankshaft axle is oppositely arranged in the shaft pivots. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a crankshaft.
