The cylinder has an operating lever pivotable around a bearing point by a training person with respect to an adjustable mechanical load for purpose of muscle building. The cylinder is designed as dual acting cylinder with a cylinder housing (11), piston (9) and a piston rod (10). The piston divides a part of an inner area (12) of the housing into two chambers (13, 14). The chambers stay in connection with a common storage container for fluid over a line system (19) for forming a closed fluid-system.
