The arrangement has a binary decider (6) that guides an electrical signal burst via a high pass filter. The high pass filter has a coupling capacitor (3) and ohmic resistors (4, 5), where the cut-off frequency of the high pass filter is switched. Resistance value of the high pass filter is varied for changing time constant. A signal detector (7) differentiates between reception and non-reception of the signal burst.
