The digital motion-picture camera (10) has an opto-electronic sensor device (34), which has multiple sensor elements for the production of received signals as a function of the exposure time. A digitization device (40) digitizes the received signals and an electronic control equipment (50) controls the exposure time and the selection of the received signals. Multiple motion pictures with different exposure time are combined by the control equipment. The time mid points of the to be combined pictures coincide with each other, lying between a starting and end of recording respectively.
