The shutter (2) has a disk portion (26) provided with evenly spaced slits (28), where the slits are evenly distributed on the totality of the disk portion that is placed in front of an optical path of a digital sensor (14) to reduce the quantity of light reaching the sensor. The disk portion with the slits is coaxial to another disk portion forming a mirror (22), where the slits are of variable width. Opening width of the slits is selected such that transparency/opacity ratio corresponds to a reduction of exposure desired for high-luminosity imaging.
