The device has a mains voltage measuring unit (3) attached to a three-phase power grid. A computer unit (1) is connected to a three-phase measuring unit (2) and is provided for determining conditioning current values (K). An inverter (4) is connected with the power grid and is provided for supplying conditioning currents based on the determined values. The computer unit is designed for a modeled reproduction of a synchronous machine to provide a portion of the current values as stator currents of the reproduced synchronous machine and mains voltages of the power grid as inputs.
