The labor system has a transport system (1) for samples (2), and conditioning mechanisms (3-9), which can be started selectively by the samples. An application device (10) is provided for applying the samples within an area of the conditioning mechanisms. The application device is movable between the two conditioning mechanisms. The application device is designed for transferring the samples between the transport system and the conditioning mechanisms and is movable on a transport roadway. A transport device (12) is designed in a self-propelling manner.
