In shaped articles (I) having a decorative and/or functional surface, consisting of (a) a thermoplastic film, (b) an elastic intermediate layer and (c) a plastics supporting component, the intermediate layer (b) has a Shore A hardness of 15-75 and a thickness of 0.05-1 mm. An independent claim is included for the production of (I), by applying the intermediate layer (b) to the film (a) then bonding the assembly to the supporting component (c).
