The system has a pocket computer (4) and/or a tabulate computer carried by a person, and a radio frequency identification (RFID) unit (3) coded and arranged in a sewer (1). The computer has a reading unit for the RFID unit, and is on-line compatible, where the computer is connected with a monitoring server (6) and a control monitor (7). The server is in a central office (5), and a sensor is connected with the central office, where the sensor is a motion detector. The sensor is a switch, which outputs a signal to the central office in an opened position of a cover (2) of the sewer. An independent claim is also included for a method for monitoring a sewer inlet of a communal supply and disposing network.
